All Democratic presidential candidates will appear on campus September 26 for a debate officially sanctioned by the Democratic National Convention. NBC news had already secured Hanover as the location for two sets of debates this fall for both the Democratic and Republican parties, but the DNC's co-sponsorship means that all Democratic candidates will take part in the Democratic debates, rather than a select few. The DNC, in partnership with six states, announced its schedule of debates and their media sponsors on Wednesday. The schedule calls for six DNC-sanctioned debates, one each to be held in Charleston, SC; Des Moines, IA; Hanover, NH; Philadelphia, PA; Las Vegas, NV; and Los Angeles, CA between July 23 and December 10. According to the DNC press release, NBC/MSNBC will still broadcast the Hanover debate.
