April 29, School Street, 12:34 a.m.

Police pulled over a vehicle for operating with a loud muffler. While being questioned, the 20-year-old driver, who is not associated with the College, showed signs of nervousness and did not maintain eye contact with the questioning officer. Eventually, the driver admitted to having consumed several alcoholic beverages before driving, and an inspection of his car revealed that he was in possession of both alcohol and marijuana. He was arrested for unlawful possession of alcohol, transporting alcoholic beverages by a minor, possession of controlled/narcotic drugs and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle.

April 29, East Wheelock Street, 4:21 a.m.

An employee at the Hanover Inn called Hanover Police to report seeing three males dragging what appeared to be a broken parking meter down the sidewalk and towards Fayerweather Hall. A responding officer circled the block, spotting what he believed to be the males, but upon a second loop of the area, found that they had disappeared and abandoned the parking meter on the sidewalk.

April 30, East Wheelock Street, 1:31 a.m.

Officers on patrol noticed a 20-year-old Dartmouth student staggering down Crosby Street. While officers initially lost track of the individual, upon a second trip around the area they found him leaning face-first into the door of Alumni Gym. Upon closer inspection, police found that the individual had passed out in this position. The officer established that the student was intoxicated and he was then released to Safety and Security.

May 1, Summer Street and Lebanon Street, 6:53 p.m.

Police received complaints from several women that a man in his 40s was pestering women in downtown Hanover and asking them for help. When officers eventually caught up with the 44-year-old based on his description, it was established that he was intoxicated. Police then took the man into protective custody.

May 2, East Wheelock Street, 2:22 a.m.

Officers observed an empty vehicle with the engine running and driver door open. While checking the vehicle's registration, police saw that a bench warrant existed for the driver's arrest due to his failure to pay a fine in a district court. When the 32-year-old EBAs deliveryman, the car's driver, exited the building, police arrested him.
