Officers stopped a vehicle for not having illuminated headlights after dark. When an officer approached the vehicle, he observed a 30-pack of Keystone Light in the back of the car. Upon further inspection, he discovered that the 18-year-old driver, who is not a Dartmouth student, was in possession of false identification. Police would not comment on whether or not the false identification had been used to purchase the alcohol, or where the alcohol had been obtained. The 18 year old was arrested for unlawful possession of alcohol, transporting an alcoholic beverage by a minor and drivers license prohibitions due to the false identification. He was escorted to the Hanover police station where he was picked up by his parents.

Hanover Emergency Medical Services, Fire and Police responded to EBAs after closing because workers at the restaurant requested assistance with a sewage problem. The restaurant reported that a large quantity of "grey water," or waste water from any source except toilets, had backed into the kitchen and dining rooms. The town sewer department and a town health officer were called in to locate the problem, but they determined that it was the establishment's fault, not the town's. The restaurant eventually fixed the problem and cleaned up the mess, though it delayed opening that day until 9 a.m.
