April 5, Brook Hollow, 11:17 p.m.
Police received a call from a member of the Class of 2005 that his 20-year-old wife, a Dartmouth junior, had consumed too much vodka at their off-campus residence and needed assistance. An ambulance rushed the junior to the hospital, where later police arrested her for unlawful possession of alcohol based on consumption.
April 6, Buck Road, 12:25 p.m.
The outpatient Community Health Center alerted Hanover police that a 38-year-old woman had arrived at the center seeking unspecified drugs for which she did not have a prescription. Police arrived as her 1993 maroon Jeep was pulling out of the center's driveway, and they immediately pulled her over. Upon further review, the officers discovered that the resident of Rochester, Vt., had lost her license for failing to pay an unspecified fine, and then arrested her for operating under suspension.
April 7, Rope Ferry Road, 3:50 a.m.
Hanover police received a report from Dick's House that an intoxicated 19-year-old male was being uncooperative with nurses. Police arrived and arrested the College freshman for unlawful possession.
April 9, Rope Ferry Road, 2:10 a.m.
Hanover police received another report from Dick's House that an intoxicated 21-year-old male was being uncooperative with the nurses. Police arrived and brought the senior into protective custody.
April 9, Rope Ferry Road, 3:07 p.m.
Later that day, Hanover police again received a report from Dick's House that an intoxicated 23-year-old male was being uncooperative with the nurses. Police arrived and brought the senior into protective custody.
April 10, Webster Avenue, 12:12 a.m.
Safety and Security reported to Hanover police that someone in the vicinity of Phi Delta Alpha fraternity had allegedly been assaulted. Police arrived to find four males behind Phi Delt, one of whom had suffered a laceration on his nose and face. Contrary to the Safety and Security report, however, the boys contended that the wounded student had not been assaulted, but instead had fallen into a construction site. During questioning, officers detected the presence of alcohol on each of the students, who were all underage. Police then arrested all four for unlawful possession of alcohol.
April 10, Lebanon Street, 1:10 a.m.
Hanover police received a report that a man appeared to be passed out in the driver's seat of his parked silver convertible. The officers arrived on the scene and reportedly needed several minutes to make the subject aware of their presence. After waking him, police arrested 41-year-old Stephen Crory for driving under the influence of alcohol, since the law states that sitting in the driver's seat of a parked vehicle while intoxicated is equivalent to driving under the influence of alcohol.
