Feb. 3, Brook Hallow, 1:11 a.m.

Hanover Police pulled over a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee for not signaling before making a turn and arrested its driver, a 31-year-old Tuck student, for allegedly driving under the influence. He has a court date March 8.

Feb. 3, Rope Ferry Road, 3:23 a.m.

Safety and Security called Hanover Police to Dick's House for assistance with a 19-year-old intoxicated Dartmouth freshman who was acting "uncooperative and obnoxious." Police arrested him for unlawful possession by consumption of alcohol. He has a court date March 1.

Feb. 3, South Main Street, 10:23 a.m.

An officer arrested a 22-year-old male for driving with a suspended license after pulling him over because the right rear taillight of his white Toyota truck was broken. The Vermont resident originally lost his license for a car accident in Massachusetts. He has a court date March 1.

Feb. 3, Lyme Road, 10:44 a.m.

Police arrested Sandra Combs, a 52-year-old employee of the Wheelock Terrace retirement home, for stealing $20 from a patient's room. She has allegedly committed several similar offenses. The nursing assistant has a court date March 15.

Feb. 3, Main Street, 2:44 a.m.

Police responded to a complaint that a man was handing out flyers throughout town libeling another individual's work ethic. They found and arrested Roy Grendler, a 49-year-old man, for criminal defamation. Grendler has a court date March 2.

Feb. 4, Buck Road, 9:54 a.m.

Two officers were called down to the community health center to investigate what appeared to be two parents under the influence of alcohol with a 2-year-old girl. The case has been referred to the Division of Children, Youth and Family services, a state agency.

Feb. 6, Fayerweather Hill Road, 2:41 a.m.

Safety and Security requested assistance from the Hanover Police after picking up an intoxicated non-Dartmouth student in the Fayerweather cluster. The student, from the University of Southern Maine, was at Dartmouth visiting her friend. Police arrested her for unlawful possession.

Feb. 6, College Street, 3:43 a.m.

Safety and Security called Hanover Police Sunday morning for help with an intoxicated individual. Police arrested a Dartmouth sophomore who failed to identify himself to Safety and Security outside Topliff Hall. According to reports, he was visibly intoxicated and swaying back and forth. He has a court date March 22.

Feb. 7, Rope Ferry Road, 2:51 p.m.

A Dartmouth employee reported that his 2002 green Ford Explorer had been the victim of a hit-and-run while parked and unattended. The car incurred over $600 worth of estimated damage.

Feb. 7, Lyme Road, 3:50 a.m.

Police responded to a complaint lodged by C&A's pizzeria that a customer had attempted to pay for a meal with counterfeit money. Police arrested Charles T. Arnold III, a 17-year-old Hanover High School student, for trying to buy a small order of garlic bread with a counterfeit $50 bill. He has a date in adult court.
