Jan. 12, Lebanon Street, 4:03 p.m.

Hanover Police responded to a Hanover High School student's complaint that his iPod had been stolen from his unlocked locker. Chances of finding the iPod are "next to none and slim in Texas."

Jan. 13, South Main Street, 11 a.m.

An unidentified male purchased the prescription drugs Percocet, a narcotic painkiller, and Xanax, an anti-anxiety medication, with a counterfeit prescription at Eastman's Pharmacy. This incident is one in a series of prescription fraud violations he has committed across multiple jurisdictions. Detectives from these jurisdictions are working together to catch this man who has struck 15 times in Hanover and in other towns including Lebanon, New London and Newport.

Jan. 13, Tuck Mall, 4:26 p.m.

A Dartmouth senior reported a hit-and- run that resulted in significant damage to the front bumper of his parked, unattended 2003 blue Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Thayer Engineering School parking lot. The price of the damage is estimated at over $1,500.

Jan. 14, Lyme Road, 2:18 p.m.

A Dartmouth freshman turned himself in to Hanover Police after a warrant for his arrest had been issued for misrepresenting his age in order to buy alcohol. The original offense occurred at Stinson's convenience store where the freshman attempted to purchase two cases of Keystone Light.

Jan. 14, Lebanon Street, 7:48 p.m.

In another case of high-school iPod theft, a Hanover High School sophomore reported her iPod stolen from her gym bag in the women's locker room. It was later found unharmed hidden under the radiator.

Jan. 15, West Wheelock Street, 3:08 p.m.

Police responded to a complaint from a member of the Class of 2005 that her camera-phone, coat, scarf and sweatshirt had been stolen while attending a party at Gamma Delta Chi fraternity. She later recovered all of her property, which had been placed in another room of the fraternity by someone who had accidentally moved it.

Jan. 16, Fayerweather Hill Road, 4:02 p.m.

Police responded to a report that an 18-year-old college female had accidentally overdosed on an unspecified substance. An ambulance rushed her to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Jan. 17, Lebanon Street, 10:50 a.m.

An unidentified person reported that there was a bag of trash in the middle of the road on Route 120. The cruiser arrived on scene but could not find any trash bag.
