To the Editor:
I have never seen drivel of the equivalent of Adil Ahmad's "Cliches" letter (The Dartmouth, July 1) ever printed in this paper. I couldn't believe Al-Nur would've posted the schlock the accusing letter described until I went to their website and saw it clearly with my own eyes. Mr. Ahmad was denying its existence while it was still in plain view! In this space I once accused others of "willful naivete" for their views on gay marriage; Ahmad crosses -- by far -- the line between willful naivete and outright absurdity. "Daniel Pipes?" "Informational purposes?" One can only assume the lunacy of Ahmad's position is not shared by the other members of Al-Nur, as the site finally seems to be getting revised. Thank goodness.
