March 29, Meadow Lane, 7:33 p.m.
The Lebanon police department contacted Hanover police for assistance serving an arrest warrant at an address on Meadow Lane. Officers from both jurisdictions apprehended the suspect, who was in violation of a domestic violence order, without incident.
March 30, Ivy Lane, 2:18 a.m.
Hanover police were called to Zimmerman dorm to assist Safety and Security with an under-21 female Brown University student who was vomiting and uncooperative. The resident of Gallup, N.M., apparently also presented herself as a 22-year-old to Safety and Security officers. She was taken by ambulance to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center emergency room due to her condition. She was issued a summons to appear in court on May 4.
March 30, Tuck Mall, 2:48 a.m.
Safety and Security again required assistance, this time at the Hinman residence hall with an intoxicated male 20-year-old '07 from New Hampshire. The student originally gave Safety and Security a false name and false date of birth to try to appear over 21, which is not illegal. The student, however, also gave false information to Hanover police, which is against the law. The officer attempted in vain to verify the false information on a national database, which prompted the '07 to "see the futility in his lies," and finally identify himself. Police decided to only file charges of unlawful possession by consumption.
March 30, Rope Ferry Road, 6:39 a.m.
A subpoena to appear as a witness in an upcoming court case was served to a Safety and Security officer. The trial regards a Dartmouth student arrested for possession of alcohol by consumption.
April 1, Fayerweather Hill Road, 10:03 a.m.
Police served a criminal arrest warrant to a 19-year-old female '07 for fraudulent use of a credit card. She allegedly used the credit card of an acquaintance to buy over $500 of clothing and food. She is scheduled to appear in Lebanon District Court May 11.
April 2, Lyme Road, 9:53 p.m.
Two males, aged 24 and 26 years old, were arrested an assault charges stemming from a March 26 fight outside 5 Olde Nugget Alley. At first, it appeared that only one of the pair would be charged, but after a police investigation it was determined that both were responsible.
