HOOPLA: Katie Skelly, left, and the women's basketball team beat Maine, 81-72, on Dec. 11 before dropping four in a row, including both games in their own Dartmouth Classic. Next up for them is the league opener at Harvard on Saturday. Meantime, leading scorer Flinder Boyd and the men visited the Land of Enchantment in late December, going 1-1 at the Lobo Classic. Earlier in the month, the Big Green lost its Ivy opener at Harvard, 73-50; the men have a chance for immediate revenge, as they host the Crimson Saturday night.
