Weekend home games: Equestrian hosts show

Baseball

Red Rolfe Division leader Dartmouth (3-1 Ivy, 10-9 Overall) hosts is first home series of the season against Lou Gehrig Division leaders--Pennsylvania (3-1, 10-8) tomorrow and Columbia (3-1, 4-19) on Sunday.

Probable starters for tomorrow's games are Conor Brooks '00 and Jim Kelly '03 against Penn, and John Velosky '02 and Jeff Dutremble '01 are probable starters for Sunday.

Kelly earned Ivy Pitcher of the Week award last week with a victory over last year's Gehrig Division champ, Princeton. The righty allowed only two runs and struck out 11.

Men's Lacrosse

The Big Green men's lacrosse team (3-3) will host Pennsylvania tomorrowafternoon in their Ivy League season opener at Scully-Fahey Field.

Last weekend, Dartmouth snapped its three-game losing streak with a 10-8 home victory over Denver. The Green are 1-1 at home this year.

Goalkeeper Mike Gault '03 is ranked fifth in the league with a 10.35 goals-against-average, while posting a .519 save percentage.

Women's Tennis

The women's tennis team also opens its Ivy season this weekend, hosting Cornell this afternoon and Columbia tomorrow. Last weekend, the team split itsgames in Boston. They beat Boston College, 6-3, after dropping a match against Boston University, 6-3.

Track and Field

Both men's and women's track and field teams host a meet this weekend against league rivals Brown and Harvard tomorrowat Memorial Field.

Equestrian

The equestrian team will host "Dartmouth Show" tomorrow at the Dartmouth riding center at Morton Farm.

Dartmouth is currently ranked fourth in the region, out of 10 schools. Next Sunday, the team will host the Regional Championship.
