Men's lacrosse: four Ivy teams in Top-25

Cornell, Harvard, Brown, Yale are all ranked in the top 25 of men's lacrosse poll after this weekend and the Ivy League is better than ever.

No. 11 Cornell

Andrew Schardt had three goals in the Big Red's victory over Yale. The league's leading scorer Sean Steinwald was double-teamed by Yale, but he still managed to score a hat trick. Steinwald has 25 points.

No. 13 Harvard

The Crimson extended its home winning streak to 3-0 as they beat Hobart, 8-7. Harvard is off to its best start since the 1996 team, which went on to earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

No. 14 Brown

The Bears played well but lost to No. 3 Loyola, 14-9. Brown will face more challenge this weekend as it hosts top-ranked Syracuse on Saturday.

No. 20 Yale

The Bulldogs dropped from No. 15 after losing badly to Cornell. The Big Red took the majority of faceoffs and Yale had season lows in shots on goal, goals and faceoffs won.

Princeton and Pennsylvania

Nine different players scored against Rutgers and six freshmen collected six goals. The Tigers have won five straight Ivy titles and 25 consecutive Ivy games.

Penn beat Lafayette, but dropped two Ivy matches last week and fell out of the ranking from No. 19 spot.
