Tickets for Friday's Dartmouth-Princeton men's basketball game are completely sold out.
The last ones were scooped up just before noon on Tuesday, according to ticket manager Miriam Durkee.
However, Durkee said there are approximately 700 tickets remaining for Saturday's clash between the Big Green and the Penn Quakers. Tip-off for that contest is 7:30 p.m. in Leede Arena.
Princeton comes to Hanover with a 16-1 record (the lone loss to No. 2 North Carolina), and the Tigers are ranked 11th in the latest coaches poll. Princeton has made quick work of some national powerhouses but has only Ivy games remaining on their slate. With a 4-0 record in the Ivy League this winter, Princeton is unbeaten in its last 18 regular season conference games.
Meanwhile, the Quakers of Penn have catapulted into second place in the Ivy by virtue of a sweep of Cornell and Columbia this past weekend. Penn moved to 9-9 overall and 3-1 in the Ivy with these wins.
The young Dartmouth team has a three-game win streak, including a 65-64 victory over Navy on January 24, and a pair of road victories at Yale (70-68) and Brown (76-60) on January 30-31. The Big Green's record is 3-3 in the Ivy League, 6-12 overall.
Both games should be competitive ones for the Big Green as the Princeton/Penn weekend is perennially the toughest of the season.
Friday's game between Dartmouth and Princeton will start at the unconventional time of 6:30 in Leede Arena.
Tickets for Saturday night's Penn game can be purchased at the Berry Center Ticket Office which is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
