He is, arguably, the largest student currently enrolled at Dartmouth. But that fact alone doesn't make senior Alex Ghanotakis the big man on campus.
What distinguishes this guy from the others is the fact that he won two field events at the Heptagonal Championships this past weekend.
On Saturday, Ghanotakis defended his Heps title in the hammer with an NCAA qualifying toss of 206-4. Then on Sunday, he threw 182-7 to win the discus event. He was voted the Outstanding Male Performer of the Meet.
