Sarah Hood '98, a wing on the women's hockey team, is this week's Athlete of the Week. Hood had two key goals, including the game-winner, to lift her team to a 3-2 ECAC quarterfinal win over Northeastern this past weekend. Hood co-leads her team in points scored, having tallied 40 this season.
"I think Hoody demonstrated this weekend what it really means to be an athlete: sheer determination, character and love of the game," co-Captain Michelle Erickson '96 said. "She put in everything she had and, because of that effort, we are still in the running for a national title."
