Last weekend, Andrea Hill '97 became the first woman in Dartmouth history to win an event at the Easterns Championship, earning her this week's athlete of the week award.
Hill won the 200 breatstroke in a time of 2:18.21. Two weekend's ago, Hill also set a pool record in the same event at home in Karl B. Micheal Pool. She was the first Big Green woman to ever swim the event under 2:20.
"She has worked really hard for this," teammate Wendy Simon '98 said. "She knew what she wanted, and she knew how to get it. She's done a lot for the team."
