To the Editor:
In your article ("College tops Ivies," Feb. 7) about Dartmouth having the highest number of alcohol arrests, you say that College Proctor Robert McEwen "said the increase in underage drinking and public intoxication arrests could be due to better enforcement."
Surely you incorrectly paraphrase McEwen; there is no such thing in New Hampshire as an arrest for underage drinking nor for public intoxication, as there is no law prohibiting either of these.
