Ever lose a file? There's an easier way to look through the folders on your hard drive. By using the View menu and other features of the finder, you can look through all your files without opening dozens of windows and cluttering your desktop.
Double click on your hard drive icon. When its window opens, select "by Name" from the View menu. Your folders will all appear with arrows next to them. By clicking on an arrow you can show all the contents of the folder. You can do the same with folders inside of folders. Just click the arrow again and the outline of folders will collapse one level.
