Dartmouth and Brown seemed matched in skill for over three quarters, with each team pulling ahead by one only to see the other team take the lead. Brown (6-8, 2-4 Ivy) eventually pulled ahead by two goals with 8.5 minutes left to play in the game, but Dartmouth (5-9, 1-5 Ivy) managed to equalize before the buzzer to send the game into overtime. Brown scored first in the sudden death overtime period to win.

Chris Costabile '13 opened scoring with a shot three and a half minutes into the game, giving the Big Green its only lead of the afternoon. Penn (8-4, 4-2 Ivy) answered with two goals in an 11-second burst and went into the first break with a 2-1 lead.

UVM started strong, scoring the game's first goal less than two minutes into play. Dartmouth won the next face-off, however, allowing Patrick Resch '14 to score. Following a dropped pass by the Big Green, UVM ran down and retook the lead with just over 10 minutes to play in the first period.

The game opened slowly for both teams and, for the first time all season, Dartmouth was unable to score in the first quarter. Princeton (4-6, 2-2 Ivy) scored the lone goal of the period with less than five minutes left to play. The Tigers also had the clear shot advantage in the first 15 minutes, taking 16 attempts to Dartmouth's five.

Only three days after a close loss to Yale University, the Dartmouth men's lacrosse team faced the University of Delaware on Tuesday in Danbury, Conn., losing to the Blue Hens (8-4), 14-11, and marking the Big Green's (4-6, 1-2 Ivy) third consecutive loss.

In a disappointing season end, the Dartmouth women's squash team fell to Yale University the University of Pennsylvania and Cornell University at the Howe Cup this weekend. During the Collegiate Squash Association women's team championship, at Princeton University, the women's team (9-10, 1-8 Ivy) was shut out in the first round against Yale University before it lost to the University of Pennsylvania, 8-1, and was defeated by Cornell University, 5-4, in the consolation rounds.

Executive director of the National Rowing Foundation W. Hart Perry '55 died on Feb. 3 following a 10-day hospitalization in New London, Conn., U.S. Rowing Chief Executive Officer Glenn Merry said in an interview with The Dartmouth. Perry who rowed for the College and served as a rowing coach and official during his career was 78.

Both the men and women were swept by the Tigers, 9-0, continuing the five-year losing streak against Princeton. The women's team (7-7, 0-5 Ivy) was ranked eighth and Princeton (8-3, 4-3 Ivy) was ranked fifth entering the weekend. On the men's side, Dartmouth (9-6, 1-4 Ivy) was ranked number seven and Princeton (8-1, 5-1 Ivy) was number three.

The Big Green women ensured that they would retain their spot in the top eight of the College Squash Association rankings with this weekend's win, beating Williams (6-7, 3-0 NESCAC) for the first time since 2008. Coming into the match, the Dartmouth women were ranked eighth and Williams trailed in ninth place.

Men's soccer player Dan Keat '10 participated in the 2011 Major League Soccer Superdraft on Thursday in Baltimore, Md., following a five-day showcase tryout that included 53 other college seniors and 36 Division I athletes. The tryout the 2011 Major League Soccer Combine preceeded the Superdraft, which took place in Baltimore, Md., and included the first three rounds of the MLS draft.

As the defending Ivy League champion, the Yale men's team (5-0, 2-0 Ivy) is currently in first place in the League standings and was a formidable opponent for the Big Green men (3-1, 0-1 Ivy). Historically, Dartmouth has had trouble against the Bulldogs, so members from the Big Green were not disappointed with the 2-7 finish.
