Over the weekend, Dartmouth's Ultimate Frisbee team traveled to Harvard University and won the Ivy League Ultimate Frisbee Championship of the Ultimate Observer's Association. The eight-team tournament consisted of several Ivies, Tufts University and Brandeis University. Dartmouth went undefeated for the weekend and won the championship game against Brandeis, 15-11, on Sunday. Co-captain Sam Snow '11 said he was impressed by the resiliency of the team, which came off a disappointing loss to Tufts in the finals of a tournament last week held at University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Despite the strong winds and a relatively young team, the Dartmouth Pain Train played confidently throughout, with notable performances from the six freshmen on the team, according to coach Brook Martin. The Big Green's ultimate frisbee team will travel to Brown University next weekend. After the Ivy League Championship, the team will head to South Carolina on Nov. 20 to compete in the UOA's National Championships.
