What have you achieved so far this term? Maybe you're proud of your stellar performance during corporate interviews. Maybe you're still managing to survive in Meir Kohn's finance class. These are praiseworthy achievements, but there are two Dartmouth students whose responses will stand out from most.

Keeping his word after the 2-1 win against the University of Pennsylvania on Sunday, Big Green head coach Jeff Cook fielded the best players he had available, without giving his starters a break before the "game of the season" against Columbia on Saturday. The statistics didn't look good for the Big Green (4-5-3, 2-1-1- Ivy) before the game. Dartmouth's last win over the Penn Quakers came on November 17, 2001, when even fifth-year senior Peter Savidis '06 was not yet a part of the team. Currently leading the series 27-18-9, Penn arrived in Hanover with an impressive 7-2-1 record on the season, 3-0 in Ivy play. The Big Green, meanwhile, had won only one of its last five games.

The Big Green ended a three-game losing and a four-game winless streak. Just when it looked as though the 0-0 game was headed for overtime, which would have marked the Big Green's fifth trip into an extra session in 10 matches this season, a sudden lapse of concentration in the Dartmouth defense gave the away team a chance it didn't squander. After a long throw for Sacred Heart from the left wing, the ball found striker Jesper Fredriksson around the middle of the penalty area, where he flicked it on to the far post. The ball was met by the onrushing Jeton Shoshi, who coolly slotted it past Rowan Anders '07 in the bottom corner of the goal.

The Tigers, celebrating 100 years of soccer at Princeton, started the game more positively and had a few chances in front of netminder Rowan Anders '07 before they managed to score. In the 35th minute, senior Jame Wunsch played the ball out of Princeton's defensive end, finding freshman Devin Muntz, who redirected it to junior striker Kyle McHugh. Left one-on-one against Anders, McHugh slotted the ball home for the only goal of the game. Neither team managed to seriously threaten its opponent's goal throughout the rest of the first half, with the Tiger having a 6-3 advantage in shots at the end of the first period.
