For the second consecutive year, women's water polo returned from the Collegiate Water Polo Club Championship Tournament with a second-place finish, again falling to California Polytechnic in a down-to-the wire final game.

Women's water polo clinched a bid to the Women's Collegiate Club Championship tournament with a perfect 4-0 weekend at the New England Division Championships at Middlebury College. The Big Green played three games on Saturday, trouncing the competition by a combined score of 44-5, before facing Yale in the championship game on Sunday. Once again, Dartmouth was victorious, overcoming the nationally ranked Bulldogs 9"2.

Women's water polo, currently ranked third nationally among club teams, went 4-0 this past weekend in the second regional New England tournament at Wesleyan University. This was the first competition since the team returned from its intense training trip in Hawaii over spring break, where it faced imposing competition from international junior national teams as well as national varsity squads.

The Dartmouth men's water polo team finished second in the North Atlantic Division of the Collegiate Water Polo Association last weekend, completing its season with nine wins and two losses, both of which came at the hands of a much-improved Middlebury College squad.

Men's water polo began its season over the weekend by hosting the North Atlantic Division Western Regional Qualifying Tournament, where they took on Middlebury College and the University of Vermont. Each of the three teams faced each other twice.

Dartmouth women's water polo returned from California Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo this weekend as the number-two club water polo team in the country. The National Championship Tournament brought together the best teams in the each of the 11 regions, with the Pacific region sending two, to battle for the title.

Big Green women's water polo earned its fifth consecutive trip to the National Championship Tournament with its victory last weekend over Yale. The team's strong performance this season earned the first place seed in the New England regional qualifying tournament, held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology April 16 through April 18.

Big Green women's water polo went undefeated Saturday and Sunday in the New England Regional Qualifying Tournament held at Middlebury College. The team, led by head coach Jim Wilson, beat Wesleyan, Williams, Yale and host Middlebury by a combined score of 53-13.

The Dartmouth men's water polo team embarked upon its search for a second consecutive New England Championship during the weekend of Sept. 28, with wins over Tufts, Middlebury and Amherst. A loss to Boston College in overtime left the team in a three-way tie at the top of the league.
