14SpringHasNotSprung: A Tribute to the Snow-Covered Grounds

By The Dartmouth Web Staff | 3/25/14 6:00am

Springtime often brings with it flowers, sunshine, green grass and fresh air. But this is a little played out, don't you think? Here in Hanover, Mother Nature has become much more original with her definition of "spring," a time which currently more resembles January on campus. With all the beautiful, crystalline snow covering the ground, who needs grass anyways? I don't know about you, but we think a muddy Green is the only kind of Green there should be. If you disagree, perhaps you need a trot across so you can feel the mud grabbing your shoes saying "I just love you so much!" It's all really pretty sweet, to be honest. We've noticed that the rest of the student body seems to be feeling the same way, and your Instagram feed has probably been loaded with photos of friends basking in the wonderfully unexpected weather. So put on that down jacket and don't forget your earmuffs, here are some of our favorite Instagrams from students in the first days of 14S.
