John Donahoe '82, president and CEO of eBay, Inc., spoke at Tuck's Investiture ceremony the day before the College's Commencement ceremony.

"We came to Tuck hoping to learn a lot, hoping to put ourselves in a position to succeed, to get good jobs, succeed in a career," Baker said. "We did all that, but you also get to know so many great people fundamental to the Tuck experience ... because of how great the people are, because of how much you learn from the people."

Tuck's Investiture ceremony began at 3:00 p.m. in Tuck Circle and featured a keynote speaker, a student speaker and an awards presentation. Trustee John Donahoe '82, who graduated from Stanford's Graduate School of Business, was this year's keynote speaker. Donahoe was unanimously elected president and Chief Executive Officer of eBay, Inc., on Jan. 23, 2008.

Andrew Argeski Th'08 who has already begun working for Public Service Enterprise Group, New Jersey's biggest utility provider, said Thayer has prepared him well to enter his career. His job requirements were "like a checklist for the different things we learned at Thayer," he said.
