March 1, East Wheelock Street, 05:51 a.m.
After pulling over a 45-year-old woman based on information that she had been driving after her license was suspended, an officer searched her car and found that she was in possession of marijuana. The woman was arrested for possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and driving after suspension.
March 13, West Wheelock Street, 12:29 a.m.
Police received a noise complaint from a resident of West Wheelock Street because several Dartmouth students were reportedly playing beer pong outside and making too much noise. By the time officers arrived on scene, the game had broken up and most of the students were gone.
March 14, East Wheelock Street, 05:33 a.m.
Early in the morning, police observed a sport utility vehicle driving the wrong way down Observatory Road, an inclined one-way street behind Dartmouth Hall. When the officers signaled to the driver to pull over, the driver failed to pull over for several minutes. When the driver, a 20-year-old Dartmouth student, finally did pull over, he was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated, disobeying an officer and negligent driving.
March 15, Lebanon Street, 2:41 a.m.
Police responded to a burglary alarm at Hanover High School to find a 20-year-old male loitering behind the school. Though the police were unclear as to whether he had set off the alarm, after questioning the man, who is currently employed at a Hanover restaurant, police saw that he was intoxicated. He was arrested for unlawful possession and intoxication.
March 23, Lebanon Street, 9:39 p.m.
At a Hanover High School dance, a chaperone noticed one of the students dancing and acting strangely. The chaperone informed an on-hand police officer, who ascertained that the 15-year-old was intoxicated, and placed him in juvenile protective custody.
March 27, Massachusetts Row, 12:27 a.m.
Officers were assisting an ambulance on Massachusetts Row, which was on site to take an intoxicated 18-year-old female Dartmouth student to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, when they noticed another student walking by who appeared to be intoxicated. After questioning the 18-year-old male, police found that he was also intoxicated. Both students were arrested for unlawful possession and intoxication, and discharged to Dick's House.
March 28, South Main Street, 02:44 a.m.
Police noted a 21-year-old Dartmouth student who was blatantly intoxicated and having difficulties riding his bicycle. After observing him for several minutes, police took the student into protective custody, then turned him over to Dartmouth Saftey and Security and Dick's House.
