Sept. 29, Lyme Road, 2:15 a.m.

Police received a call from a passerby that a man had apparently fallen off his bicycle in the vicinity of the rotary and was lying on the ground unconscious. An ambulance and police officers arrived on the scene to find the 24 year old conscious but intoxicated on the ground. Police took the man, who had not incurred any serious injuries, into protective custody.

Oct. 1, West Wheelock Street, 12:04 a.m.

Hanover Police pulled over an old, green Ford Mustang for driving 53 miles per hour down the West Wheelock Street hill. After conducting a sobriety test, the officer determined that 21-year-old Andrew Lasswell was under the influence of alcohol. The officer also ran the Dartmouth senior's license information through the computer system and learned that his license had been suspended. Lasswell was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and for driving under suspension.

Oct. 1, Tuck Mall, 9:56 p.m.

Safety and Security requested assistance from Hanover Police with four boys who they believed to be non-Dartmouth students in possession of what appeared to be some drug items. Police arrived and discovered that three of them were 16-year-old Vermont residents and the other was a 19-year-old Dartmouth freshman. Police found marijuana and some drug paraphernalia in the Dartmouth student's possession, but none with the other three. The officers arrested the 19 year old for possession of a controlled substance.

Oct. 2, East Wheelock Street, 1:09 a.m.

Police officers reported to Topliff Hall after Safety and Security called an ambulance for help with an intoxicated female vomiting in the first floor bathroom. The ambulance brought the Dartmouth sophomore, who "was in pretty tough shape," to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Later, police charged her with unlawful possession of alcohol by consumption and intoxication.

Oct. 2, Fayerweather Hill Road, 2:23 a.m.

Safety and Security asked Hanover Police for help with an intoxicated 17-year-old Dartmouth freshman in Mid-Fayerweather Hall. The student had already been taken to Dick's House for intoxication but had escaped. Police arrested him for unlawful possession of alcohol by consumption.

Oct. 2, Allen Street, 9:49 a.m.

A police officer observed a man going into the fenced trash area behind Stinson's convenience store. Once behind the store, the subject took a hit from a homemade metal pipe as the policeman looked on. The officer arrested the 45-year-old White River Junction, Vt., resident for possession of marijuana.

Oct. 2, Tuck Mall, 9:41 p.m.

Police arrested 21-year-old Dartmouth student Bibek Dhital '07 for simple assault on a warrant stemming from a Sept. 18 incident involving unprivileged physical contact with a female Dartmouth student. The contact, described as nonsexual, occurred at Kappa Kappa Kappa fraternity. Dhital's arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 15.
