Jan. 3, Fayerweather Hill Road, 2:25 a.m.

Police responded to a complaint lodged by EBAs claiming that students in the Mid-Fayerweather dorm had attempted to pay for $50 worth of food with multiple faulty credit cards. Upon the arrival of police, the students produced valid credit cards. There was no evidence to suggest that the students had been purposely deceptive.

Jan. 3, North Main Street and College Street, 9:34 a.m.

Hanover Police arrested a male sophomore for driving with a revoked license after having pulled him over for driving a car with expired registration. The '07 lost his license on June 8, 2004 for violation of the New Hampshire implied consent law by refusing to undergo a breathalyzer test. The 19-year-old has a Feb. 8 date in district court.

Jan. 5, West Wheelock Street, 11:54 p.m.

Safety and Security requested assistance with a disorderly 19-year-old at Theta Delta Chi fraternity meetings Wednesday night after having been alerted to the situation by someone within the fraternity. The Theta Delt brother was transferred to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and charged with unlawful possession.

Jan. 6, N. Main Street, 1:44 a.m.

Three officers responded to a request for assistance by Safety and Security after they had encountered a 20-year-old intoxicated male who claimed not to be a Dartmouth student. Upon further investigation, he was discovered to be a student of the College. He was arrested for unlawful possession and possession of false identification.

Jan. 7, Allen Street, 9:21 p.m.

An undercover Hanover Police officer arrested Steven Simuro, a resident of Windsor, Vt., at Stinson's convenience store on a bench warrant issued because Simuro failed to attend a hearing concerning a prior arrest for driving with a revoked license. By sheer chance the officer recognized Simuro from a previous arrest.

Jan. 7, Allen Street, 11:34 p.m.

Hanover Police responded to a call from the clerk at Stinson's convenience store claiming that an underage male was attempting to buy a 40-ounce bottle of malt liquor. Police arrested a 19-year-old Emory College student, who was visiting his friend, a Dartmouth '08, for possession of false identification. He must return to New Hampshire for his Feb. 8 court date. Classes resume at Emory on Jan. 19.

Jan. 9, West Wheelock Street, 12:08 a.m.

On-duty patrol officers stopped three 20-year-old rowdy male subjects under suspicion of intoxication after one of them tossed an empty plastic cup on the ground. The three Dartmouth students were arrested for unlawful possession based on their consumption.

Jan. 9, Tuck Mall, 1:49 a.m.

Safety and Security requested assistance after they saw three young male suspects carrying beer outside of Lord Hall. Police arrested a 15-year-old, a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old, none of whom were Dartmouth students, for unlawful possession. The two older arrestees have court dates on Feb. 15, and the youngest will attend "some type of diversion program."
