Residents called Hanover Police to investigate two to three gunshot noises in the area. Upon investigation, police found a group of young males, possibly College students, celebrating their last day of ski jumping with fireworks. No violations were issued.
Feb. 25, Webster Ave., 3:32 p.m., 4:47 p.m., 6:11 p.m.
Three reportedly unauthorized parked motor vehicles were towed from Phi Delta Alpha fraternity's parking lot.
Feb. 25, Tuck Mall, 11:21 p.m.
A male College student requested that police unlock his Toyota Corolla.
Feb. 28, Tuck Mall, 1:29 p.m.
A female Russell Sage resident, missing her Samsung cellular phone, filed a lost property report for insurance purposes.
Feb. 28, East Wheelock Street, 4:13 p.m.
A 25-year-old male driver from White River Junction, Vt., clipped the rear of a legally-parked post office vehicle. A police investigation revealed that the driver was blinded by sunlight, and no tickets were issued.
Feb. 28, Lebanon Street, 9:42 p.m.
Hanover Police investigated possible disorderly conduct in the apartment above Ben and Jerry's. A group of College-age subjects (one who identified himself as a 19-year-old College student) were found shooting squirt guns from the window of their apartment.
Police decided not to charge them.
