To the Editor:
I was very glad to read that the college has decided to abandon the "I" requirement. I suffered through a miserable class this past spring, and from what I've heard, my experience was far from unique.
If the decision is upheld, it will be one of the few positive choices made by the administration since my arrival in 2000. I urge students to do everything in their power to ensure that the elimination of the "I" stands.
If everything progresses according to plan, my only regret will be that the decision wasn't made last summer.
