Co-Captain Steve Sugarman '97 had a finale performance that was as sweet as sugar on Sunday as he won the individual title at the Black Knight Invitational at Army.
In the first round of the tournament, Sugarman shot a 73 to lead the field going into the final round. Then, on Sunday, he mirrored his 73-shot performance to post a six-stroke victory over his nearest competitor.
Sugarman's phenomenal performance buoyed the Big Green to a sixteen-stroke victory over a field of eight teams. It was Dartmouth's first tournament win since their victory at Yale in the Spring of 1993.
