The Dartmouth softball team continued to struggle yesterday afternoon as it fell in a double-header against Vermont, 4-0 and 6-4.
The loss dropped the Big Green to 5-17 overall.
In the first game, the Catamounts secured the victory with four runs in the sixth inning.
In the second game, Vermont took an early 3-0 lead with two runs in the first and another in the third. Dartmouth rallied with a three-run fourth inning, but the Catamounts tacked on three more runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings.
The Big Green hosts Fairfield on Saturday for a 1 p.m. double-header.
