The Big Green baseball team bumped their record to 14-7 yesterday with a narrow 6-5 victory over Vermont. It was Dartmouth's tenth straight win.
Ivy League Player of the Week Brian Nickerson '00 continued to impress at the plate with a tie-breaking two-out, two-run single in the eighth inning to give Dartmouth a 6-4 lead.
Bill Reinsch '99 entered the game in the sixth inning to relieve Matt Tarver-Wahlquist on the mound and eventually got the win.
Now second in the Red Rolfe Division, the Big Green plays St. Anselm this afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
