Baseball late score

The Big Green ousted the Tufts Jumbos, 16-11, yesterday in a slugfest in Medford, MA. The win was the fifth in a row for Dartmouth, which improved to 9-7 heading into this weekend's Ivy League play at Red Rolfe Field.

It was a big day for senior Andrew Spencer as he became Dartmouth's all-time hits leader with a single in the top of the first inning. It was his 166th base-hit. He finished the game 3-for-5 with two runs scored and 4 RBI.

Mike Armstrong '98 continued to provide the offensive spark for the Big Green, as he cracked a 2-run homer in the ninth inning.

Senior Jon Aljancic pitched five innings and earned the win.
