Over the Weekend

WOMEN'S SQUASH: Heather Duckworth '98 won three matches in the feed-in consolation at the individual collegiate squash championships this weekend. Teammate Laurie Sykes '99 was also in the feed-in after losing in the round of 16. Dartmouth's Jen Karlen '98 went 1-1 in the feed-in while Jenny Johnson '99 lost in the first round of the feed-in.

MEN'S SQUASH: Dartmouth's Beau River '00 won the consolation bracket of the individual collegiate squash championships this weekend. His teammate Jon Gabel '98 lost 3-1 in his second-round consolation match.

MEN'S SWIMMING: The Big Green finished in eighth place at the Eastern Intercollegiate Swimming League Championships this weekend. Harvard won the event with 831 while Dartmouth tallied 216 points at the event.

Jon Kenyon '97 took third in the 100-yard backstroke on Friday with a time of 50.38 seconds. Mike Hooper '99 took sixth in the 400-yard individual medley.

WOMEN'S TRACK: Sophomore Anne Devlin had a runner-up finish in the 1,000 meters at the ECAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships at Leverone Field House this weekend.

Devlin also helped the 4 x 800 relay to a fifth-place finish. Also running on the relay squad were Helena Kimball '99, Susan Ashlock '00 and Margie Van Orden '00.

MEN'S TRACK: The Big Green finished fifth at the IC4A Championship yesterday as senior Adam Nelson won the shot with a put of 58-6.

Sophomore Greg Johnson was third in the 55-meter hurdles with an NCAA provisional qualifier time of 7.39, and senior Steve Clark was sixth in the high jump with 6-10 1/4.
