Women's squash wins two more

The women's squash team improved to 4-1 this weekend with a 9-0 thrashing of the Cornell Big Red in Ithaca, New York this past Saturday.

As in their last three matches, the Big Green humiliated their opponents in little time, recording their third team shutout of the season.

Laurie Sykes '99 started off the afternoon in the number one spot in true form.

Co-Captain Heather Duckworth '98 followed suit as she defeated her opponent in under thirty minutes. Duckworth only dropped one point the entire match.

Junior Jen Karlen, Jenny Johnson '99 and Lindsey Rhoads '00 also emerged victorious with respective 3-0 victories.

In what was perhaps the match of the day, Carolyn Levine '00 played a perfect match at number six, blanking her opponent 9-0, 9-0, 9-0.

Like Levine, the undefeated Andra Winokur '99 continues to steam-roll over her opponents. Winokur pummeled her opponent 3-0 as did Brady Beale '97 and Louisa Serene '00.

The Big Green will host Middlebury tonight at 5:30 on the Berry Courts.
