Field hockey rookie Lauren Scopaz '00 has been selected as this week's athlete of the week for her efforts last Saturday against Penn.
Scopaz scored a three-goal hat trick during the Big Green's convincing 6-1 victory over Penn.
"With so few upperclassmen, we've had to rely on the freshmen, and she has just done a great job stepping up into the starting center forward position," tri-Captain Kelly Hannigan '97 said. "She has been able to do a great job finishing for us, which is what we need."
