Pitcher Christina Maybaum '98 set a new record for Big Green athletics this weekend. Maybaum pitched the first perfect game in Dartmouth's history to come away with 3-0 win over Columbia.
"[Maybaum] is one of the most intense players on the team," co-Captain Karen Hersey '96 said. "She is the future of the softball program. She is the person we rely on every game."
According to Hersey, Maybaum's 1-7 record this season may not show her talent. "She may not be able to get wins, but it's not because of her pitching," she said.
