In the Big Green's two wins against Penn and Princeton this past weekend, freshman Bess Tortolani was a key player to come off the bench.
With 17 points against Penn and 16 against Princeton, Tortolani, primarily a forward, also racked in a total of 11 rebounds and nine assists.
"She came off the bench and did great for us," teammate Sally Annis '97 said. "Both offensively and defensively she was a spark for us. Without her we probably wouldn't have won either of those games."
