Basketball takes to the road

The women's basketball team traveled to Boston University yesterday only to lose a disappointing 63-61 contest.

Dartmouth, now 9-5, was coming off a solid weekend of play against Columbia and Cornell but was unable to continue its winning streak, despite 16 points from Sally Annis '97.

Although the game was a non-league contest, the loss is a set back for the young Big Green squad which earlier this week had been hoping to find a momentum.

Alicia Charles led Boston University with 15 points, while Giristine Murray tallied 14. For Dartmouth, Erin Rewalt '99, Nicci Rinaldi '99 and Captain Jen Stamp '96 all followed with 11 points a piece.

The Big Green will stay on the road this weekend as they travel to Lafayette for a Saturday afternoon game.
