The Dartmouth women's squash team split meets Saturday at Amherst College, but the men's team was not so lucky.
The women had an easy time with Smith College, winning 8-1, but dropped a close 5-4 match to Amherst.
Dartmouth's top four players were no match for the Lady Jeffs but Amherst's bottom four players were no match for the Big Green.
Unfortunately Dartmouth lost the number five slot and the match.
Winners for the women included Betsy Allen '96, Trish Cunningham '96, Maura Schneider '96 and Brady Beale '97.
Allen won at number six, 3-1, Cunningham took the seven slow, 3-0, Schneider edged her opponent 3-2 in the eight slot and Beal won 3-1 in the bottom slot.
Scott Hammond '96 was the only winner for the men's team, winning the number two position 3-0 as the Big Green fell 8-1 to the Amherst Lord Jeffs..
The men's record dropped to 3-5 on the season while the women sit at 2-5 overall.
