After last year's frustrating 5-21-1 record, the men's hockey team is turning over a new leaf in its 1994-95 season.
The Big Green kicked off this year with an exhibition game against Williams College on Nov. 4 and defeated the team 6-2.
The next evening, playing for a crowd of over 3,200 fans, Dartmouth met up with longtime rival Boston College and, in a game that came down to the wire, the Big Green were able to win with a close score of 5-4.
Last weekend, Dartmouth went on the road to play Cornell and Colgate Universities and remained undefeated.
Friday's game against Cornell was a tough one, but Dartmouth was able to tie the Big Red 5-5. The next evening, the Big Green gained another victory, beating Colgate 3-2.
On Friday, the team will take on the University of Vermont, which is ranked eighth in the nation. The game will be held in Thompson Arena at 7:30 p.m.
