Zavras and Aylward met during freshman fall when they took the same Writing 5 class. Both had practiced ballet their whole lives, with additional training in other genres, and found that Dartmouth lacked both ballet technique groups and contemporary performance groups. Without an outlet for the dance styles that she had grown up practicing, Zavras felt that something was missing.

Social media outlets were bombarded last week with outrage over the death of Matthew Crawley in the season finale of "Downton Abbey" last Sunday. The connection that fans had forged with the principle character is a testament to the series' ability to take the lives of a fictional aristocratic family in early 20th century Yorkshire and make them both relatable and relevant to our own.

Jamie Horton: I was a principal artist there as an actor and a director for 23 seasons, and it was one of the most extraordinary periods of my life. To have an artistic home for over two decades was a great gift. It was a wonderful place to grow and to experiment, to fail and to get back up on the stage and give it another try. I learned an enormous amount, worked with very talented people over a long period of time and made terrific friends. CM: How did you end up with a role in "Lincoln"? What was the process like?

Composed of 12 members from various regions of Georgia, Ensemble Basiani was formed in 2000 as part of the Tbilisi Holy Trinity Cathedral Church choir. The name Basiani, which was taken from the region in southwest Georgia where Georgian royal troops defeated the Turks in the 13th century, invokes victory and national pride, according to Zurab Tskrialashvili, the ensemble's public relations representative.

The "sLowlife" exhibit is the product of collaborative efforts by the United States Botanic Garden, the Chicago Botanic Garden and Indiana University biology professor Roger Hangarter. The multi-sensory exhibit aims to challenge our perceptions of the natural world around us. Montshire exhibit director Bob Raiselis said that people tend to think of plants as being stationary, when in fact most plants are in near constant though incredibly slow motion. Plants angle themselves differently according to the location of the nearest light source so as to maximize their exposure, according to Raiselis.
