Former trustee Leon Black ’73 countersues former Russian model

New developments have come to light in the legal proceedings surrounding former trustee Leon Black ’73 and former Russian model Guzel Ganieva. On Oct. 28, Black filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against Ganieva and her law firm, Wigdor LLP, alleging racketeering, defamation and extortion. 


13 students successfully complete DOC Fifty

This past weekend, the Dartmouth Outing Club organized the Fifty, a challenge that requires hikers to trek 50 miles from the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge to Hanover in just over 24 hours. Katie Gregoire ’23, one of three coordinators for the Fifty, said that the course follows the Appalachian Trail from Mount Moosilauke to the Green and takes most people around 26 hours. 


Rollout of at-home COVID-19 testing kit program underway

In early September, the College announced that it would introduce take-home COVID-19 testing. While planning the roll out of the program has proven “challenging” and the tests are currently only available for select populations, according to College spokesperson Diana Lawrence, the tests will be offered to the remainder of the undergraduate student body as soon as logistics are finalized.
