The DDS Detective

Walking into Collis to see what soups have been cooked up that day is like checking your sent blitzes' folder the morning after an especially rage-y night you never really know what you are going to get. But one cannot ignore the fact that one bowl of delicious Collis soup is sometimes not enough to tide you over for several hours. The solution? Creamy rice: a dish that has all the flavor of Collis soup, fills you up for a long time and in keeping with the DDS Detective's mantra, is super easy to make. 1. Get a small cup of Collis Soup NOTE: Only use this recipe for non-creamy soups (i.e. no chowders, cream of vegetable and/or soups with butter)2. Ask for a small cup of rice 3. Get a small cup of plain yogurt from the fridge4. Pour the soup on top of the rice such that the rice isn't drowning in the soup, but evenly coated.5. Add a dollop or two of plain yogurt to the soup/rice blend and mix

You may be a little skeptical towards this combination, but trust me, there's really no reason to be apprehensive about creamy rice. The plain yogurt tastes just like sour cream, and what's not to like about Collis soup? And once you're done, grab some granola (they sell it in the Collis salad bar), drop it in the remainder of your yogurt and voil instant dessert. So when you're in Collis for dinner tonight and you feel like the Sunja's Sushi chefs are judging you for getting three scoops of pasta with alfredo sauce, why not change things up and get creamy rice instead? You can laugh at them later when you're filled up on a delicious and healthy meals and they're on their eighth dragon roll and still not satisfied but don't expect anymore complementary sashimi.
