Caroline Berens ’18: When I was trying to soften a Pop-Tart in the Fahey-McClane fourth floor kitchen, and I accidentally set the microwave to two minutes instead of twenty seconds. Within a minute the microwave, and then the entire kitchen, were engulfed in smoke, and I spent the rest of the night airing it out so the fire alarm didn’t go off. It wasn’t funny at the time, but it was the next day.
Combine your Favorite parts of every DDS location into one mega-dining hall and describe:
Mention Beirut in any other context besides the country. Wear the American flag as underwear, a t-shirt, a bikini and/or a bandana. Put Buffalo sauce on anything. Be Canadian. They're obviously just American students in disguise. Wear moccasins. Apparently they are actually just house slippers in other countries.
Despite Dartmouth being bombarded with #praise for its undergraduate teaching, '15s realize that Bio 11 and Math 3 are just as boring as their high school classes. #numberonestunna #shouldhavetakentheAP
Seniors realize they can't spend the rest of their lives irresponsibly #bingingonKeystone and decide to attend the #CareerFair. Many believe that black short-shorts and Sperrys qualify as #businesscasual. #unfortunate #MYEYES!
STYLISH:Fieldstock 09X Tank-TopI have never been a big fan of buying T-shirts at Dartmouth. Yes, I was at Green Key '08, but I don't need to advertise Keystone to prove it. But this Fieldstock tank-top is cute enough that I don't mind promoting the big weekend. And once I found out that DASH was reset at the start of the summer, buying the top is even easier. Fieldstock 09X: good with shorts, skirts or even just a bathing suit. Who cares that a third of your friends are wearing the same thing? -Eve Ahearn
I'm most excited to be able to wear open-toed shoes again even though, knowing New Hampshire weather, I'll probably have to wait until at least May to be able to do that!
