Richard Mills, executive dean for administration at Harvard Medical School, was named Dartmouth's new executive vice president and chief financial officer on Tuesday. As the College's third-highest administrator, Mills will work with President Phil Hanlon and the provost, a position currently filled by vice provost Martin Wybourne, to shape the College's annual operating budget, which currently exceeds $950 million.

Amoh, a rising sophomore at Trinity University, drowned in the Connecticut River around three miles north of campus on Wednesday. He was visiting his brother Justice Amoh '13, a graduating senior, and was reported missing during River Fest, a senior week event at the Chieftain Inn.

Following a faculty petition to eliminate Princeton University's investment in assault weapon manufacturers, members of the university's Student Anti-Violence Effort wrote a statement to support it, The Daily Princetonian reported. Both the faculty and student groups said they found inspiration in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in December. The effort aims to increase campus awareness of gun dangers and honor those who lost their lives in Newtown. Faculty first presented their petition in February to Princeton's Resources Committee, which is responsible for discussing objections to the university's financial strategies. It will be further reviewed alongside the student petition this April.

Following changes to the Greek Leadership Council's system for allocating funds, the Panhellenic Council received only $3,000 this year, a dramatic decrease from the tens of thousands it was allotted in previous years.
