As the door to 404 Wheeler Hall opens, two freshman women wearing bustiers, suit jackets and knowing smiles welcome customers into their candlelit "We Groom in the Nude" men's salon. Clients, who sit beneath Tibetan prayer flags and amid sleazy novels, are united by one common desire -- nudity.

The Center for Women and Gender presented a performance of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues" last night in Collis Commonground. The annual production, now in its sixth year at the College, featured more than 25 Dartmouth women and is part of a greater, week-long Valentine's Day series of events. The play will be performed again Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Free condoms, lubricants and information packets filled Collis Commonground for the third annual Sex Festival Monday night. The event, sponsored by the Center for Women and Gender, took place between 5 and 8 p.m. and featured 21 booths represented both on- and off-campus organizations.

The 95th annual Winter Carnival weekend kicks off Thursday at 7 p.m. with opening ceremonies that promise to be bigger and better than ever before. This year's unveiling of the snow sculpture will include explosions, fireworks and everyone's favorite villains -- pirates. A flame juggler and a twirler with flaming batons will lead the ski team processional from Robinson Hall to the Green.

It might be hard to argue that Saturday night's Dashboard Confessional concert was anything but a success. The Programming Board was pleased to announce that the show sold out, providing a crowd of 2000 people for the emo-pop group and opener Howie Day. Fans drove from far and wide, including places like Oklahoma and Ohio. Other fans flew in from Florida and Texas. At 8 a.m. people were already lining up at the door.

Student Assembly voted Tuesday night in favor of a resolution calling for more co-ed housing options on campus. Out of the 40 members present at the meeting, 29 voted for the resolution, 10 voted against it and one abstained.

The Student Assembly will vote tonight on whether or not to pass a new resolution proposing more co-educational living options for Dartmouth undergraduates. Under the Assembly's proposal, the River Apartments, eight of the two-room doubles in the East Wheelock residential cluster and several of the rooms in the new McLaughlin cluster will house both male and female roommates.

Vintage belts, earrings and home spa products led to an informal discussion Monday at the Tuck School of Business on how Dartmouth students can launch their own businesses. Lisa Porter Kable '90 and Lisa Salzer '04 addressed students, mostly women, about their experiences starting companies and advised their audience on how to establish themselves in the business world.
