This season's edition of Dartmouth men's basketball team is green. Not only green in the uniforms the team wears, but more importantly in the players' inexperience. The team consists of no seniors and 12 underclassmen on the 17-man varsity roster. But a lack of experience has advantages in addition to its disadvantages.

The eighth-seeded Dartmouth College women's soccer team will meet the University of Wisconsin Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. on Chase Field in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Badgers advanced with a 2-0 victory against the University of Central Florida Wednesday night in Madison.

Picture this: Seamus McLeary, a fun-loving, happy-go-lucky Irish Republican national emigrates to the United States to study at Michigan. He's never played football before, but Irish are very good at picking things up quickly, and soon Seamus is the starting quarterback for the Wolverines. Seamus is a hero to Irish everywhere.

A former Senator, current Congressman and Pulitzer-Prize-winning journalist were among the five people who recalled the life of former Senator and presidential candidate Paul Tsongas '63 at a lecture last night. Tsongas died two years ago after a long battle with cancer.

How many college students have contemplated packing up after college and going abroad to learn about life? And how many follow through with it? Dr. T. Barton Thurber, the new European curator for the Hood Museum of Art, did just that when he received his degree from the Rhode Island School of Design: he packed his bags and went to live in Italy.
