The Oh Hellos—Bitter Water

KatieHake: Coming off The Oh Hellos'recent release, Dear Wormword(2015), "Bitter Water" echoes the cheerful ambianceof newly-fallen snow on a bright winter's day. The folk rock siblingduo perfectly nails the light and airy notes of a love that won't let go, building up to a soaringchorus with ablend of voices and instruments you can't help but hum along to. This brilliant song is a glimpse into their beautifully-crafted album.

The Royal Concept—Smile

Jillian Dayneka: This week’s pick is “Smile,” the latest single from the Swedish band The Royal Concept. This upbeat alt-pop track sucks you in with rhythm combinations that bounce around playfully all throughout the song, while still remaining smooth. Throw this song on during your next walk to class--it'll help you imaginebeing somewhere much warmer than Hanover.

Besine—Feel Alive

Grace Miller: I first discovered Besnine a couple of months ago. Their tracks strike me as perfect pump-up music that are simultaneously not too overwhelming. As far as I can tell, Besnine is (*gasp*) actually one guy from Paris who has an awesome soundcloud. His soundcloud description helps him remain mysterious: “You might find me in the studio, working on some funky beats.”
