Sept. 13, Allen Street, 1:21 a.m.

A Hanover police officer observed two males talking to a Dartmouth Safety and Security officer on Tuck Drive. The Safety and Security agent indicated to the police officer that there was not a problem; however, the officer smelled a strong alcohol odor and noticed that one of the males had watery, bloodshot eyes. The 20-year-old Dartmouth junior was determined to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. He was frisked down, revealing a 12 oz. can of Keystone Light beer in his front right pocket. A preliminary breathalyzer test administered at the police station suggested a blood alcohol concentration of .326. The student was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for evaluation.

Police responded to a complaint about a group of loud skateboarders congregating outside the Hanover Town Hall, where a meeting was in progress. The Hanover Police received a telephone harassment complaint from a female patient at DHMC. The victim had been receiving persistent calls from an anonymous female who claimed to be the girlfriend of the victim's husband. Sept. 24, Webster Avenue, 12:31 p.m.

The Hanover Police Department was called to assist Safety and Security with an intoxicated 19-year-old Dartmouth sophomore. The female was accompanied by a 22-year-old Dartmouth male and was vomiting when a police officer arrived on the scene and took her into custody. As she was brought to her cell in the police station, the female became violent and attempted to choke the arresting officer.

Sept. 24, Clement Road 1:45 a.m.

A 50-year-old-male was found stumbling along Clement Road near Occom Pond before coming to rest upright against a telephone pole. The officer on duty determined the man was intoxicated when the male subject was unable to step away, upon request, from the telephone pole. The man claimed that he was an alumnus in town for the football game and that he was coming from Dragon senior society and looking for Sigma Nu fraternity. The officer then took him to Sigma Nu where he was reunited with two friends who had been looking for him.

Sept. 28, E. Wheelock Street, 9:06 p.m.

Hanover Police are investigating a complaint filed by a female Dartmouth student who reported her laptop computer missing from her room in Topliff Hall. After filing a complaint with the Department of Safety and Security and the Hanover Police, the victim spotted her power cord in a room on the third floor of Topliff, and the police now suspect another resident to be responsible for what now stands as a felony violation. The College junior suspected of the crime has a court date on Oct. 23.

Oct. 1, S. Main Street, 7:18 a.m.

Police responded to a complaint from a woman who reported that two males left Alpha Delta fraternity with what appeared to be a painting. The woman followed the two subjects who fled the scene in a white Volvo. The pursuit led both parties to Interstate 91 and then back to campus where a third party entered the white Volvo. Later, behind Massachusetts Row, a police officer located the white Volvo, in which he saw an AD photograph composite. Two people were arrested relating to this matter.
